Eurasian Reed Warbler
Acrocephalus scirpaceus

Rørsanger er en lille spurvefugl, der yngler i rørskove over størstedelen af Europa samt i dele af Centralasien og Nordafrika. Arten er en almindelig ynglefugl i Danmark som overvintrer i tropisk Afrika.
Evenly olive-brown above and pale buff below, with a flattened, pointed and a thin, pointed bill — altogether a very plain bird with no bold markings. It closely resembles the Marsh in and is most safely told apart by song.
Can be confused with
- Marsh Warbler — Marsh Warbler shows a faint greenish tinge above, paler legs and a paler, more yellowish-white underside than the Reed Warbler, and is best told by its mimicking song, against the Reed Warbler’s monotonous, unending repetition.
Voice
The song is long, almost without pause, and monotonously repeats the same syllables in a fixed, insistent pattern. The bird often bursts into song when someone approaches its territory.
